Marta S. Codeço

I was born in Portugal and had an interest in geology from a young age. I earned my BSc in Geology and MSc in Economic Geology at the University of Lisbon (Portugal) and subsequently moved to Germany, where I completed my PhD at the world-famous Panasqueira W-Sn-Cu deposit (Portugal). After completing my PhD, I spent another three years in Germany as a postdoctoral researcher working on VMS deposits in the Iberian Pyrite Belt.  Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona.
